Laura Cantrell's third studio album, originally released in 2005 on Matador. A New York-based singer and former WFMU radio host, Cantrell built the record around her clear, unforced soprano and a songbook that moves between original writing and interpretation. The album includes her readings of the traditional "Poor Ellen Smith" and Lucinda Williams' "Letters," alongside her own songs such as "14th Street" and "California Rose."

This 20th Anniversary Edition is pressed on tangerine colored vinyl by Propeller Sound Recordings.
