Somewhere at the Bottom of the River Between Vega and Altair is the debut studio album from La Dispute, originally released in 2008. The band formed in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 2004 and is built around vocalist Jordan Dreyer, guitarist Chad Sterenberg, drummer Brad Vander Lugt, bassist Adam Vass and guitarist Corey Stroffolino. Known for an intense, emotionally charged sound, La Dispute writes in interconnected stories, working through themes of loss, grief and human relationships across a run of five studio albums.
