From Demos To Demons gathers fourteen tracks from King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard's Demo Sessions Vol. 1 through Vol. 7, released on Spain's Ghost Highway Recordings via Beat Generation. The set is part of the band's Official Bootlegger initiative — the authorized, label-distributed bootleg program that places early demos and rarities directly into fans' hands.

The compilation cuts across the prolific Australian psych-rock outfit's catalog: early-stage mutations, instrumental versions, and alternate takes of repertoire heavy hitters. Side A opens with "Automation" and moves through "Venusian 2," "Predator X," "Hell," "Evil Death Roll," "Big Fig Wasp," and "Mars For The Rich." Side B turns the corner with "Planet B," a second "Mars For The Rich" demo, "Uncolonise," "Self-Immolate," and a second take of "Hell," before closing with "Altered Beast I" and "Danger $$$."
