[PREORDER] Joseph Jarman & Don Moye - Black Paladins

Recorded in 1979 at Italy's Barigozzi Studio and originally issued on the Black Saint label, Black Paladins pairs Art Ensemble of Chicago members Joseph Jarman (reeds, percussion, vocals) and Famoudou Don Moye (drums, percussion) in a spare duo setting. The title track takes its name from Alexandre Dumas's poem "Saba: Black Paladins," which Jarman recites on the record.

This Dead Currencies reissue is cut from the original 1979 vinyl masters with updated artwork and inserts, hand-numbered and limited to 200 copies on "black smoke" colored vinyl.
