Olias of Sunhillow (1976) was Jon Anderson's first solo album, made almost entirely alone - the Yes vocalist famously played every instrument himself, building a self-contained prog-psych fantasy that has aged into a genuine cult classic. Mobile Fidelity's 50th-anniversary reissue is the first audiophile vinyl edition: a numbered 180g LP cut from the original master tape, housed in deluxe gatefold packaging with embossed textures that follow the original jacket. A foundational piece of the progressive canon, given the careful treatment it has long deserved.
