Enthrone Darkness Triumphant, first released in 1997, was Dimmu Borgir's debut for Nuclear Blast and the record that carried the Norwegian band's symphonic black metal to an international audience. Produced by Peter Tagtgren, it pairs aggressive riffing with epic keyboard arrangements and a dark, atmospheric sweep; the opener Mourning Palace remains its best-known track. This reissue is pressed on black, green and white crusher vinyl in a gatefold jacket with a 12-page booklet, limited to 500 copies worldwide.
