LOVE is Dexys' seventh album — Kevin Rowland's ninth — and the first released under the Dexys Midnight Runners name since 1985's Don't Stand Me Down. It is a collection of love songs in the widest sense, all drawn from Rowland's life: his Irish immigrant childhood in "My Life in England Pt. 1," a letter to his grandchildren in "You're Alright," time spent with a dying parent in "Once a Man and Twice a Child," and the difficulties of love later in life in "Old Love." Songs begun three decades ago sit alongside ones written in the last year.

The album was produced by Belfast's David Holmes, whose first cassette as a kid was Searching For the Young Soul Rebels, with Rowland's long-time collaborators Sean Read, Mike Timothy, and Jim Paterson, and strings arranged by Brian Irving.

This pressing is on yellow vinyl with an image insert inside, released September 4, 2026 on Heavenly, catalog HVNLP239C.
