Brown Spirits are a psychedelic three-piece from the suburbs of Melbourne, Australia, made up of Tim Wold, Agostino Soldati and Ash Buscombe. Their sound draws on Krautrock, free jazz and 1970s deep funk, recorded and mixed by the group to quarter-inch analogue tape at home under a strict DIY approach. Brown Spirits #2 is one of three Brown Spirits albums Soul Jazz Records is reissuing together, each originally released in long-deleted short-run editions between 2017 and 2020.
This pressing is a limited edition on transparent yellow vinyl with a download card, and includes a copy that will be deleted on the day of release. Released on Soul Jazz Records.
