Ninja Tune marks the tenth anniversary of Black Sands — Simon Green's fourth album as Bonobo, originally released in March 2010 — with a 2026 indie-exclusive 2LP pressing on 140-gram mixed variable marble vinyl. Every copy is unique.

The twelve-track album paired Green's command of live instrumentation and composition with the production techniques of UK two-step and electronic dance, anchored by three collaborations with vocalist Andreya Triana — "Eyesdown," "The Keeper," and "Stay the Same." It sold more than 400,000 copies worldwide and topped year-end albums lists at Resident Advisor and DJ Mag, cementing Green's reach beyond electronic-dance subgenres.

Bonobo has since released Migration (2017), which earned two Grammy nominations, and 2022's Fragments. Black Sands remains the pivot point — the record where the project's understanding of melody, low end, and arrangement clicked into the form that has carried the rest of the catalog.
