Indie Exclusive Transparent Blue Smoke Vinyl

These Killing Times is Emma Ruth Rundle's sixth studio album, and the first release on Errant Child — the imprint she started herself after years on Sargent House.

Rundle produced the record with Sonny Diperri, who also engineered and mixed it, at LMNL in Santa Monica and Octopus Beak in Los Angeles. Diperri's previous credits include My Bloody Valentine, Trent Reznor and These New Puritans. Zach Capittifenton contributed additional engineering, Stephen Marcussen mastered, and the cover photography is by Mason Rose.

Rundle is joined across the eight songs by Jess Gowrie of Mrs. Piss on drums, Troy Zeigler on bass, Nick Reinhart of Tera Melos and Gina Gleason of Baroness on guitar, Patrick Shiroishi on saxophone, Camille Getz on violin and Jason Adams on cello, with Marissa Nadler, Lukas Frank of Storefront Church and Amelia Baker of Cinder Well also appearing. "Powerless" was the album's first single.

Transparent blue smoke vinyl, exclusive to independent record stores. Black and transparent green vinyl and a CD were issued alongside it.
