Clear Shell Cassette, 30th Anniversary Edition

Rap-A-Lot Records and Virgin Music Group issue Picture This on cassette as part of the series marking the Houston label's 40th anniversary. The tape comes in a clear shell with a J-card carrying a commemorative 30th anniversary cover design, and runs the album's eleven tracks in their original sequence.

The album's original September 1996 release was a joint Rap-A-Lot and Noo Trybe issue. Noo Trybe was a hip-hop imprint established in 1994 and distributed by Virgin Records America. Virgin absorbed Rap-A-Lot's distribution in 1998, and Noo Trybe was folded into its parent the year after.

"Po Pimp" was issued as a single on July 16, 1996 and reached number 15 on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks. "Playa Like Me and You," featuring Johnny P, followed as the second single in 1996. The Legendary Traxster produced both, along with "Alpha and Omega" and "Shut 'Em Down." Mike Dean produced "Kill or Be Killed" and "Paperchase," and Crazy C produced the closing "Money Flow."
