She wrote every song and produced it herself, and Secretly Canadian's notes describe it as the record she made while estranged from John Lennon. Lennon plays guitar on \"Woman Power\" and \"She Hits Back\" under the name John O'Cean. The liner notes parody adult personal ads, listing the male players' telephone numbers and vital statistics, with Lennon's number given as \"Not for Sale.\"\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe band includes guitarist David Spinozza, saxophonist Michael Brecker, drummer Jim Keltner, bassist Gordon Edwards, keyboardist Ken Ascher and Sneaky Pete Kleinow on pedal steel, with the Something Different chorus on five songs.
