His sister Bobbie Nelson played piano, and Doug Sahm and his band joined the sessions, which also produced \u003cem\u003eShotgun Willie\u003c\/em\u003e.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAtlantic shelved the record and later closed its country division. Columbia released it in 1976, after the success of \u003cem\u003eRed Headed Stranger\u003c\/em\u003e.
