By then Nelson was known in Nashville as a songwriter for other singers: Faron Young had a hit with \"Hello Walls\" and Patsy Cline with \"Crazy.\" This album has his own versions of both, alongside \"Funny How Time Slips Away\" and \"Mr. Record Man,\" all written by Nelson.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eJoe Allison produced the record. Sessions began in Nashville in August 1962 and moved to Liberty's Los Angeles studios in September, where Nelson worked with guitarists Billy Strange, Roy Nichols and Johnny Western, drummer Earl Palmer and a vocal chorus led by B.
