A blue opaque LP and a CD were issued alongside.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMassive Shoe first came out in Australia on August 22, 2025, on the Melbourne label Spoilsport Records, as the third Way Dynamic album after So Familiar (2022) and Duck (2024). Way Dynamic is the solo project of Melbourne songwriter Dylan Young, who produced the record and played most of it himself. Rolling Stone Australia ranked it sixth among the 50 best Australian albums of 2025, and in May 2026 its AU\/NZ edition named Way Dynamic in its Future of Music list, the same month Jagjaguwar announced this release.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eJagjaguwar's notes describe the album as minimalist folk-pop, art rock and baroque pop, and point out that Young also plays in Cool Sounds and Good Morning and has played drums with Snowy Band and Kankawa Nagarra. The label cites two early admirers: Waxahatchee's Katie Crutchfield named \"Miffed It\" her favorite song in a very long time, and Elton John said he \"just cannot stop listening\" to \"Ibiza.\" Crutchfield, MJ Lenderman, This Is Lorelei and Black Country New Road have all taken Way Dynamic on tour.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\"Officially\" was released as a single on August 5, 2026, with a video directed by Tino D'Onghia.
