Futurismo gives this pressing the catalog number FTRSMO58A. Three vinyl colorways were made in all, and this is the one issued to general release.

Twenty-four recordings sit across four sides, six to a side. The color inner sleeves print the running order side by side and are numbered by disc, so the sequence is readable off the sleeve rather than the label.

The selection is Wesley Eisold's, made with Futurismo's Del Jae; Eisold fronts Cold Cave and sang in American Nightmare. Futurismo frames the material as a specifically American strain rather than an offshoot of the British scene of the same years, and describes the sound as punk's do-it-yourself method and hardcore's speed put through echo, distortion and tribal drumming, with lyrics drawn from horror pictures, surrealism and religious imagery turned on its head. It is the third volume of Altered Vision, the label's anthology line.

Housed in a gloss laminated outer sleeve, the package adds a large fold-out poster carrying previously unpublished photographs by Edward Colver, whose pictures of the era run through the artwork, together with text by Lisa Fancher and Eisold's liner notes.

Tracklist

LP1 - Side A

Christian Death - Spiritual Cramp

Of A Mesh - Guillotine

Super Heroines - Convicts

T.S.O.L. - Code Blue

PSI Com - Human Condition

Shadow Of Fear - In The Flesh

LP1 - Side B

The Cramps - Human Fly

Burning Image - The Final Conflict

The Gun Club - Death Party

Your Funeral - I Want To Be You

The Brainz - Elementary Monster

Theatre Of Ice - She Sleeps

LP2 - Side C

45 Grave - Violent World

Middle Class - The Call

Altar de Fey - Veil Of Death (Demo)

Mighty Sphincter - Waltz In Hell

Dead Moon - Graveyard

Twisted Roots - Are There Cobwebs On My Face?

LP2 - Side D

Fur Bible - Plunder The Tombs

Kommunity FK - Restrictions

Lords Of The New Church - New Church

The Naked And The Dead - Taboo

The Flesh Eaters - See You In The Boneyard

Red Temple Spirits - Dreamings Ending

UPC: 5053760148470
Label: Futurismo
Release Date: 11.6.26
Format: Vinyl

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0718/8801/1422/files/American-Grave_Webstore-Visual_Splintered-Tomb-3.jpg?v=1792765738
https://evergreenvinyl.com/products/various-artists-american-grave-gothic-punk-deathrock-usa-1978-1988-splintered-tomb-vinyl
