It was the band's first album without drummer Jimmy Chamberlin, and it moves the guitar-rooted sound toward drum machines, electronic programming and piano, which carries at least five of the songs.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eSessions began in Chicago in early 1997 with producer Brad Wood and moved to Sunset Sound in Los Angeles, where Billy Corgan produced; Flood added production and mixed.
