Peter J. Reynolds mastered the recordings, Martin Krafft cut the lacquers at Optimal Media in Germany, where it was also pressed, and the runouts are etched. The cover artwork is by Derek Boshier.

The four songs are studio recordings that were left unfinished and have since been completed. Madfish's notes describe the release as a tribute conceived by founding member Dick Taylor, honoring the band's late vocalist Phil May, who died in 2020, and its longstanding manager and producer Mark St John. Taylor produced and recorded the sessions with James Thorpe and Ralph Knox Johnston, who mixed them at Red Squirrel Studios, and Taylor and Knox Johnston arranged the strings. Taylor wrote "Ghosts," and the other three songs are credited to Taylor and May.

Taylor founded the Pretty Things after leaving the Rolling Stones. Madfish's notes place the band among the earliest to come out of the British R&B and rock underground of the 1960s, with a career that moved through garage rock and psychedelia into later experimental studio work, and describe this record as documenting the band's final creative period.

Tracklist

Side A

Ghosts

Flatline

Side B

Wounded

Sandstorm

UPC: 636551835213
Label: Madfish Records Imp
Release Date: 4.18.26
Format: Vinyl

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0718/8801/1422/files/kLZKm82rziK9ujYoBd7VbWhHWqjtunWmRIrBju-Egj8-1920w.jpg?v=1791877057
