The recording is the Michael Schenker Group at the Manchester Apollo on September 30, 1980, and the sleeve states it was recorded direct to tape with no overdubs. Barry Grint cut the lacquers at Alchemy, and Hugh Gilmour designed the artwork.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe band that night was Schenker on guitar, Gary Barden on vocals, Chris Glen on bass, Cozy Powell on drums and Paul Raymond on keyboards. Schenker had left UFO in 1978 and formed the group in London the following year, and its debut album, \u003cem\u003eThe Michael Schenker Group\u003c\/em\u003e, came out in 1980 and reached No. 8 in the UK.
