The label's own notes count fourteen tracks on the LP against eighteen on its CD edition, so this is the album as it was sequenced for vinyl rather than the expanded disc.

The Cramps recorded it at engineer Earle Mankey's house in Thousand Oaks, California in May 1997, with Poison Ivy and Lux Interior producing. It is the only Cramps studio album built entirely from original songs, every one of them written by the pair. The lineup was Lux Interior on vocals, Poison Ivy Rorschach on guitars and theremin, Slim Chance on bass and Harry Drumdini on drums.

Epitaph released the album in 1997, the band's seventh studio record and the follow-up to Flamejob. The Cramps reissued it themselves on Vengeance Records in 2001 with four bonus tracks, and the disc labels on this pressing carry both copyright years. The back of the jacket prints its own notice across the top: "Warning! This is not ordinary music."

Tracklist

Side One

Cramp Stomp

God Monster

It Thing Hard-On

Like a Bad Girl Should

Sheena's in a Goth Gang

Queen of Pain

Monkey With Your Tail

Side Two

Devil Behind That Bush

Super Goo

Hypno Sex Ray

Burn She-Devil, Burn

Wet Nightmare

Badass Bug

Haulass Hyena

Complete the Collection of 6:

Click here to buy Songs The Lord Taught Us

Click here to buy Bad Music For Bad People

Click here to buy Smell Of Female

Click here to buy Gravest Gravy

UPC: 029667032612
Label: Big Beat Uk
Release Date: 10.9.26
Format: Vinyl
