The single disc is housed in a double gatefold digisleeve, and the back panel lists all twelve songs above the Fat Possum imprint, which licensed the album from the band for the American market.

Sun Structures is the debut studio album by Temples, a four-piece from Kettering, England: James Bagshaw, Thomas Warmsley, Adam Smith and Samuel Toms. Bagshaw produced every track and mixed the first and last; Claudius Mittendorfer mixed the ten in between, and Noel Summerville mastered the record. Lyric credits on this release are shared between Bagshaw and Warmsley. Fat Possum's solicitation traced the band's influences from 1960s psychedelia through Motown, glam and Krautrock.

The album reached No. 7 on the UK Albums Chart, No. 4 on Billboard's Heatseekers chart and No. 163 on the Billboard 200, and Rough Trade Shops named it their album of the year for 2014. Fat Possum sent "Shelter Song" to US modern rock radio on April 15, 2014, and "Keep in the Dark" later played over the closing credits of the 2015 thriller The Gift. The building on the cover is the Rushton Triangular Lodge in Northamptonshire. Temples followed it with Volcano in 2017.

Tracklist

Shelter Song

Sun Structures

The Golden Throne

Keep In The Dark

Mesmerise

Move With The Season

Colours To Life

A Question Isn't Answered

The Guesser

Test Of Time

Sand Dance

Fragment's Light

UPC: 767981142227
Label: Fat Possum Records
Release Date: 2.11.14
Format: CD

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0718/8801/1422/files/3000x3000bb_3d039c20-c27f-472b-8c4b-8c2a93e2dfac.jpg?v=1793492644
