Bernie Grundman remastered it from the original analog tapes, Alex Abrash cut the lacquers at AA Mastering from high-resolution digital files of the new masters, and Precision pressed it on 180-gram black vinyl at 33 1\/3 RPM.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePretzel Logic was the band's third album, released in 1974 and produced by Gary Katz. Walter Becker and Donald Fagen made it with more than a dozen studio musicians, among them drummer Jeff Porcaro, keyboardist David Paich, guitarist Dean Parks and bassists Chuck Rainey and Wilton Felder.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt was Steely Dan's first album to reach the Billboard Top 10, peaking at No. 8 during a 36-week chart run, and lead single \"Rikki Don't Lose That Number\" reached No. 4 on the Hot 100, the highest chart placing the band ever had.
