Vessel sings and plays guitar and keyboards; II is on drums. The story picks up the relationship between Vessel and the deity the band calls Sleep.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe band announced the record on June 18, 2021 with the lead single and video \"Alkaline\", and debuted the song live that same day on the second stage of the Download Festival Pilot. \"The Love You Want\" followed in August and \"Fall for Me\" in September. The album gave Sleep Token its first UK chart entry, opening at No. 39 on the UK Albums Chart and No. 13 in Scotland, and reached No. 37 in Germany.
