Warfield had earlier recorded as a rapper, and Bravin had worked as a DJ under the name DJ Adam 12. uDiscover's notes credit Fred Durst with signing the pair to Geffen in 2005.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eWarfield and Bravin produced the album themselves, recording it through the autumn and winter of 2004 in Los Angeles. Michael Patterson mixed it and Greg Calbi mastered it.
