The package adds a full-size four-page booklet and a single-sided 12-inch print of the cover on thin card. The front carries Paul Raymond Gregory's original eagle artwork, and the discs were pressed in the Netherlands.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003eThe Eagle Has Landed III\u003c\/em\u003e was first issued in 2006 by Steamhammer\/SPV as a double CD. It is the third installment of Saxon's live series, following \u003cem\u003eThe Eagle Has Landed\u003c\/em\u003e in 1982 and \u003cem\u003eThe Eagle Has Landed II\u003c\/em\u003e in 1996. The recordings come from two line-ups: the 2004 performances, taped at Wacken Open Air and in Paris, London and Kiel, feature drummer Jörg Michael, and the 2005 shows in Stockholm, Nuremberg, Hamburg, Berlin and Fulda feature Nigel Glockler, back in the band after a break.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBiff Byford sings, Paul Quinn and Doug Scarratt play guitar and Nibbs Carter plays bass. According to Blabbermouth's announcement of the original release, the first half concentrates on songs from the band's early albums through 1984, while the second covers 1991's \u003cem\u003eSolid Ball Of Rock\u003c\/em\u003e through 2004's \u003cem\u003eLionheart\u003c\/em\u003e, along with \"Broken Heroes\" from 1985's \u003cem\u003eInnocence Is No Excuse\u003c\/em\u003e. Blabbermouth's review of the 2006 release rated it 8 out of 10; Scream Magazine gave it 2 out of 6.
