(RTI) presses it on 180-gram Neotech VR900-D2 compound, with the One-Step plating handled by Dorin Sauerbier. In a One-Step process the record is pressed from the first metal part grown off the lacquer, leaving out the further plating generations a conventional run passes through.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe run is limited to 5,000 machine-numbered copies, each with a certificate of authenticity. The disc travels in a tip-on single-pocket gatefold jacket inside a custom slipcase, and its sides keep the 1984 issue's L and R designations in place of one and two. R.E.M.'s own site places it after the series' editions of Chronic Town and Murmur, both of which sold out.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eReckoning was the band's second album, made at Reflection Sound in Charlotte, North Carolina, where Dixon and Easter set out to catch the group's live sound and used binaural recording on several tracks. It reached No. 27 on the Billboard 200 and went gold in 1991. The video above, for the first single \"So.
