Fearless Records dated it February 10, 2023, one of four colorways of Misadventures sharing that street date. A single disc, five songs on side A and six on side B, with 71475-30215-1A and 71475-30215-1B stamped in the runout.

The band spent roughly five months writing, beginning in a rented house in San Diego and finishing in a cabin at Big Bear Lake in the San Bernardino Mountains, where they had written the previous album. Dan Korneff produced at Sonic Debris Recording Studio on Long Island across 2014 and 2015, and the announced release slipped from 2014 to early 2015 before settling on the spring of 2016. Thirteen songs were written and eleven kept: "Sambuka" and "Song for Isabelle" came late, replacing two the band decided did not belong.

Asked by Rock Sound what the title meant, Vic Fuentes said it "sort of represents our lives over the last couple of years of making this record" and the unexpected turns that came with it. "Circles" is the first Pierce the Veil song to take up a current event; Fuentes wrote it about the November 2015 attacks in Paris. Curtis Peoples, Tom Denney and Brad Hargreaves of Third Eye Blind carry writing credits across the record, and Dave Yaden played keyboards.

Fearless announced the album on March 18, 2016 and released it on May 13 with a concert at West Hall Sports Palace in Mexico City in front of 4,000 people. "The Divine Zero," the official stream above, had been out since June 18, 2015, with "Texas Is Forever" following in March 2016 and "Circles" in April. It entered the Billboard 200 at No. 4 and reached No. 1 on Billboard's Alternative, Hard Rock, Independent and Top Rock album charts, No. 17 in the United Kingdom, No. 13 in Canada and No. 12 in Australia, the band's first record to chart outside the United States. It is also the last Pierce the Veil album recorded with drummer Mike Fuentes.

Tracklist

Side A

Dive In

Texas Is Forever

The Divine Zero

Floral & Fading

Phantom Power and Ludicrous Speed

Side B

Circles

Today I Saw the Whole World

Gold Medal Ribbon

Bedless

Sambuka

Song for Isabelle

Complete the Collection (2)

Collide With The Sky

Misadventures (this release)

UPC: 888072495203
Label: Fearless Records
Release Date: 2.10.23
Format: Vinyl

https://evergreenvinyl.com/products/pierce-the-veil-misadventures-indie-exclusive-silver-with-red-splatter-vinyl
