It expands the original ten-song album to fifteen tracks: "Leech" and "Enemy," two songs from the original recording sessions that went unreleased until this edition, followed by "Confront Them," "Obscene Humanity" and "Lies" from the band's Obscene Humanity 7". Southern Lord notes that the original ten tracks have not been remixed or remastered, while the five added songs were remixed by Kurt Ballou and mastered by Nick Townsend. The label also notes that the packaging stays true to the original, in a Stoughton gatefold jacket.

Nails formed in Oxnard, California, in 2007 around guitarist and vocalist Todd Jones, formerly of Terror and Carry On, with bassist John Gianelli; drummer Taylor Young completes the lineup heard here. The album was recorded between December 27, 2009 and January 2, 2010, engineered and mixed by Kurt Ballou, and mastered by Alan Douches at West West Side Mastering. It was first issued on March 12, 2010 through Six Feet Under Records and Jones' own Streetcleaner Records, and Southern Lord reissued it later that year.

The original ten songs run 13 minutes and 52 seconds in total, with the title track and the closing "Depths" the only two past the two-minute mark. The front cover art is by Billy Benson. Scene Point Blank's 2010 review scored the album 8.0 out of 10, and Kerrang! included it in Dan Slessor's 2020 list of the 22 most essential grindcore albums.

Tracklist

Side A

Conform

Scum Will Rise

Your God

Suffering Soul

Unsilent Death

Traitor

I Will Not Follow

No Servant

Scapegoat

Depths

Side B

Leech

Enemy

Confront Them

Obscene Humanity

Lies

UPC: 880872127919
Label: Southern Lord
Release Date: 11.27.26
Format: Vinyl
