Twelve songs run across two sides, and the record comes in a double-sided printed inner sleeve. The release notes for this edition describe it as the concert's first time on vinyl in thirty years, part of the band's 50th anniversary.

The show was meant to become the band's 1988 live album, but the tapes went missing for some years and a Finnish festival set recorded about six months later was used instead, for Nö Sleep at All. Roadrunner first issued the Brixton recording under licence in March 1994, without the band's permission.
