The eleven songs run six on side A and five on side B.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eIt was Krol's fourth album and his second for Merge, following \u003cem\u003eTurkey\u003c\/em\u003e in 2015, and at 34 minutes Merge called it his longest record to date. Krol recorded it over more than two years in Nashville, Los Angeles and his home state of Wisconsin. Mike McCarthy, whose credits include Spoon and Trail of Dead, produced most of it at Quad Studios in Nashville, the studio where Neil Young recorded \u003cem\u003eHarvest\u003c\/em\u003e. John Schmersal and Stephen Kaye recorded overdubs in Los Angeles, Kaye mixed it at Sunking Studios, and Dave Gardner mastered it at Infrasonic.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eSean Lango plays bass and takes the guitar solo, John Schmersal and Elliott Kozel add guitar, and Allison Crutchfield sings and plays piano.
