That places the pressing between 1969 and 1972, on the original stereo catalogue number, ST 2789.

One stereo LP with green centre labels. The Side A runout reads ST1-2789-W2 O, and the O is the stamp of Capitol's pressing plant in Jacksonville, Illinois. The Side B runout reads ST2-2789-W2 #2.

Capitol's first stereo copies of 1967 carried the black label with the rainbow rim. This one keeps the ST 2789 number and the same twelve-song running order on the original Capitol catalogue number and labels' later green design, so it is a later Capitol pressing rather than the original.

Branded Man, released on August 28, 1967, was the fourth studio album by Haggard and the Strangers.

Tracklist

Side A

Branded Man (3:05)

Loneliness Is Eating Me Alive (2:34)

Don't Get Married (2:29)

Somewhere Between (3:04)

You Don't Have Very Far To Go (2:18)

Gone Crazy (2:02)

Side B

I Threw Away The Rose (3:18)

My Hands Are Tied (2:17)

Some Of Us Never Learn (2:40)

Long Black Limousine (3:32)

Go Home (2:35)

I Made The Prison Band (2:30)

More from Merle Haggard

Merle Haggard - The Roots Of My Raising

Merle Haggard - The Best Of The Best Of Merle Haggard

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0718/8801/1422/files/3000x3000bb_dbfa5e28-73a5-4496-b040-88f768faae2e.jpg?v=1793931553
