The nine songs run on a single LP, opening with \"Dawn of Eternity,\" heard above in Earache's official audio upload.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEarache Records first released the album on July 1, 1991. It was recorded that March at Morrisound Recording in Tampa, Florida, and produced by Colin Richardson with the band. Kam Lee wrote the lyrics and Rick Rozz the music for the original songs, and the record closes with \"Corpse Grinder,\" a cover of a song by Death. The title comes from H. P. Lovecraft's short story of the same name, and Ed Repka painted the original cover.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe lineup was Kam Lee on vocals, Rick Rozz on guitar, Terry Butler on bass and Bill Andrews on drums. Massacre began in Tampa in 1984; Rozz, Butler and Andrews all joined Death in 1987, and after Death dismissed Rozz in 1989 he re-formed Massacre.
