His quintet that day was Jackie McLean on alto saxophone, Bobby Timmons on piano, Paul Chambers on bass and Art Blakey on drums. Alfred Lion produced and Rudy Van Gelder engineered. Reid Miles designed the cover, Francis Wolff took the photographs and Nat Hentoff wrote the liner notes.
