It grew out of the rave shows the band debuted in 2025, sets built entirely from electronic material, and was sculpted largely on Eurorack modular synthesizers. The songs came out of an improvised session in F-sharp major, and the tracks run into one another without a break, as they did on \u003cem\u003eNonagon Infinity\u003c\/em\u003e.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eStu Mackenzie has said of the approach: \"I was like, I'm going to forget everything I know about music and relearn it all from scratch.\" He has also said, \"We've never scrapped so much material as we have for this album.
