It holds the original eleven-track album on a single 180-gram LP with a printed inner sleeve; the six previously unreleased tracks added for the anniversary appear only on the deluxe editions. Steve Jordan, who produced the album with Richards, remastered it from the original tapes, and the lacquers were cut at Sterling Sound. It was released on March 29, 2019, alongside a black-vinyl LP, a 2-CD mediabook and two deluxe box sets.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eVirgin first released Talk Is Cheap on October 3, 1988. Richards recorded it between August 1987 and May 1988 at AIR Montserrat, Le Studio in Morin-Heights, Quebec, and the Hit Factory in New York, with a core band known as the X-Pensive Winos: Steve Jordan, Waddy Wachtel, Ivan Neville and Charley Drayton. Guests included Bootsy Collins, Maceo Parker, Sarah Dash, Patti Scialfa, the Memphis Horns and Mick Taylor, the only Rolling Stone on the record.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe album reached number 24 on the Billboard 200 and number 37 in the UK, and it was certified gold in the US and Canada.
