Jim Wilson mastered the vinyl edition, and the lacquers were cut at SST in Germany.

Jerry Lee Lewis recorded the set for Austin City Limits on October 17, 1983, playing piano and singing throughout, and New West first issued it on CD and DVD in 2007. Cameron Strang and Gary Briggs produced the release, licensed from KLRU-TV. Terry Lickona, the program's producer, wrote the liner notes; he recalls that when he later tried to book Lewis for a return appearance, the answer was that Lewis did not think he could possibly do a better show.

Lewis came out of Sun Records in the 1950s alongside Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins and Roy Orbison.
