SharpTone Records released it in August 2022, and this coke bottle green pressing is limited to 250 copies.

According to the label's notes, McGough drew the songs from notebooks kept over ten years and from memories of a childhood in a small English village. He tracked vocals and guitar with producer Phil Gornell at a studio near Burbank, driving up from his home in San Diego, and drums and percussion were recorded at Steel City Studios in Sheffield. Black Peaks' Will Gardner added saxophone, collaborating remotely.

Gornell also mixed the album, and Grant Berry mastered it at Fader Mastering.
