The front keeps the original Blue Note ST-84230 cover, and the inside spread carries black-and-white photographs from the session.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHank Mobley recorded the album at Rudy Van Gelder's studio in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, on December 18, 1965, with Alfred Lion producing. By then the tenor saxophonist had been making records for Blue Note for about a decade. Blue Note first issued it in 1967 as BST 84230.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe sextet puts Mobley in a three-horn front line with Lee Morgan on trumpet and Curtis Fuller on trombone, backed by McCoy Tyner on piano, Bob Cranshaw on bass and Billy Higgins on drums. Mobley wrote four of the five pieces, including the title track; \"Venus Di Mildew\" is a Wayne Shorter composition.
