Every vinyl edition in the series was mastered direct from tape to lathe, all analog, by Dave Gardner of DSG Mastering, who cut the lacquers together with Catherine Vericolli. Vericolli also archived and restored the master tapes at 54 Sound Studios in Ferndale, Michigan, with engineer Nick King assisting. The record was pressed at Furnace Record Pressing and ships in a gatefold jacket, its artwork restored by Henry Owings.

Westbound first released the album in 1970, a few months after Funkadelic's self-titled debut. Org Music's notes credit it as the official introduction of keyboardist Bernie Worrell, and trace its origin to a single marathon session the band played on LSD.

Tracklist

Free Your Mind and Your Ass Will Follow

Friday Night, August 14th

Funky Dollar Bill

I Wanna Know If It's Good to You?

Some More

Eulogy and Light

Complete the Collection of 3:

Click here to buy Maggot Brain

UPC: 711574978816
Label: Org Music
Release Date: 5.1.26
Format: Vinyl

https://evergreenvinyl.com/products/funkadelic-free-your-mind-and-your-ass-will-follow-blue-mist-vinyl
