The set runs to 14 songs. King plays lead guitar and sings, backed by Floyd Bonner on rhythm guitar, Denny Turner on bass, Charles Robinson on drums, David Maxwell on organ and Lewis Stephens on piano.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBy 1974 King was recording for RSO, where Burglar appeared that year with Mike Vernon producing most of it and Eric Clapton guesting on \"Sugar Sweet.\" He toured close to 300 days a year in this period, sharing bills with Clapton and Grand Funk Railroad. Born in Gilmer, Texas in 1934, he made his name on Federal in the early 1960s; \"Hide Away\" reached No. 5 on the R\u0026amp;B chart and No. 29 on the pop chart in 1961 and became a blues standard, and he is counted with Albert King and B.B. King, no relation to either, as one of the Three Kings of the blues guitar. He died in Dallas on December 28, 1976, at 42.
