It carries BMG catalog number 964256662. A deluxe CD adding a Blu-ray of the band's Live in São Paulo concert was sold separately through the Evanescence webstore; this edition is the album on its own.

Sanctuary is the sixth studio album by Evanescence and the follow-up to 2021's The Bitter Truth. It is the first to feature bassist Emma Anzai, playing alongside Amy Lee, guitarists Troy McLawhorn and Tim McCord, and drummer Will Hunt. Jordan Fish, Zakk Cervini and Nick Raskulinecz share the production credits; Cervini also mixed the record and Ted Jensen mastered it. Lee told Kerrang! that the title came from words she spoke on stage at a November 2025 concert, and that she set out to make music that was more open and honest.

The album has been supported by three singles. "Afterlife" came first, released on March 28, 2025 as part of the soundtrack to the Netflix animated series Devil May Cry. "Who Will You Follow", written by Lee and Cervini, arrived on April 10, 2026 and gave the band their first No. 1 on Billboard's Hard Rock Songs chart; its music video was directed by Jensen Noen. "Tell Me When You've Had Enough" followed as the third single on September 4, 2026.

Sanctuary entered the Billboard 200 at No. 38 and the UK Albums Chart at No. 10, and reached No. 2 in Australia and No. 5 in Germany. A headlining world tour in support of the record opened in West Palm Beach, Florida, on June 11, 2026.

Tracklist

Beautiful Lie

Tell Me When You've Had Enough

Who Will You Follow

Rapture

Afterlife

Sanctuary

How Do I Heal

About Us

Calm Down

Self Destruct

Forever Without You

Wide Open Heart

UPC: 4099964256666
Label: Bmg Rights Managemen
Release Date: 6.5.26
Format: CD

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0718/8801/1422/files/SANCTUARY_STANDARD_2048x2048_04c8731f-40cb-4d6c-a67c-7d13752010a4.png?v=1791757910
