RVNG Intl.'s own shop sells Cyano on classic black and on bright yellow, with RISO-booklet versions, a test pressing and an LP-plus-7-inch bundle; the blue is not among them and reaches listeners only through indie retail.

Every sound on the record is synthesized. There are no samples and no acoustic instruments, and the album is where Emily A. Sprague's voice enters her solo work for the first time, which the label calls "a bridging of wordless and lyrical music" after years of instrumental composition under her own name. Spontaneous patching sits alongside material drawn from her earliest modular synth experiments in 2016.

The ideas behind it travelled a long way before they settled. RVNG trace the imaginal threads to a winter solstice trip to an Icelandic fjord in December 2019 with V. Haddad, Sprague's creative and life partner, who features on the opening track "Double Moon" and made the videos for the singles, including "Rising" above. The record itself was then, in the label's phrase, "ultimately completed in a single month many moons later."

Tracklist

Side A

Double Moon

Garden of Charms

Harmony in Your Hands

Inscription of Wind

Lava Surrounds

Listening Thru

Night Woven

Side B

Noon Liquid Ore

Rising

Sing To

Spiraling to the Place

Transfiguring

Under Tone

Weather Melody

*** Indie Exclusive ***
UPC: 747742388453
Label: Rvng Int'l
Release Date: 10.2.26
Format: Vinyl

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0718/8801/1422/files/CAR_20260623_1529_143136_132_v_0747742388453_002.jpg?v=1791007742
