Record Store Day classed it as an "RSD First" release. The recording reached other formats in October 2024, when Mercury Studios issued it on CD, CD with DVD or Blu-ray, digital and a separate orange-vinyl 2LP. Thirteen songs run across four sides, housed in a gatefold sleeve under catalog number 5843551.

The concert took place on May 19, 2023 at The Leadmill, a 900-capacity club in Sheffield, the band's hometown. It served as a warm-up for Def Leppard's European stadium dates with Mötley Crüe, a leg that opened at Sheffield's Bramall Lane, and the performance was streamed online. Net proceeds from ticket sales went to Music Venue Trust, which works to help struggling UK music venues. Mercury Studios' announcement calls it one of the most intimate shows the band had played in the UK or Europe in over 35 years.

Joe Elliott, Rick Savage, Rick Allen, Phil Collen and Vivian Campbell make up the lineup. The set opens with "Action," the band's cover of the Sweet song, and closes with "Wasted," from the 1980 debut On Through the Night. "Too Late For Love" is played in the style of Drastic Symphonies, the band's 2023 orchestral album, while "Fire It Up" and "Kick," both from 2022's Diamond Star Halos, made their UK live debuts at this show. "Slang" is the title track of the band's 1996 album, and "Hysteria" is the title track of the record that topped the American and British album charts.

Tracklist

Side A

Action

Fire It Up

Let It Go

Side B

Too Late For Love

Excitable

Mirror Mirror (Look Into My Eyes)

Side C

Slang

Kick

Bringin' On The Heartbreak

Switch 625

Side D

Hysteria

Pour Some Sugar On Me

Wasted

UPC: 602458435511
Label: Mercury Studios
Release Date: 4.20.24
Format: Vinyl

https://evergreenvinyl.com/products/def-leppard-one-night-only-live-at-the-leadmill-2023-silver-vinyl
