Every song was written, performed and produced by the two of them. Jonas Verwijnen recorded the sessions at The End of the World, Stetson mixed them, and Marc-Olivier Germain mastered the album at Le Lab Mastering in Montreal. Here Stetson's saxophone meets the Scottish smallpipes, which Chaimbeul took up in 2014. She grew up in Sleat on the Isle of Skye as a native Gaelic speaker, won the BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Award in 2016 and the Horizon Award at the 2019 BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards, and released her debut album, \u003cem\u003eThe Reeling\u003c\/em\u003e, in 2019.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eStetson was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and is based in Montreal. The label notes point to his use of circular breathing, percussive mechanics and multiphonics, and his film and television scores include \u003cem\u003eHereditary\u003c\/em\u003e and \u003cem\u003eThe Menu\u003c\/em\u003e. He has also recorded with Arcade Fire and Bon Iver.
