The numbered Collector's Edition sold through the artist's webstore has a different UPC, with a gatefold jacket and a 39-inch ribbon. This is not that pressing.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eCharli xcx made the album to go with Emerald Fennell's 2026 film of Emily Bronte's novel. Atlantic released it on February 13, 2026, the day the film opened in theaters. Fennell first asked her for a single song in December 2024. After reading the screenplay, Charli wrote several tracks with her longtime collaborator Finn Keane and proposed a full companion album. The two recorded it in rented studios while she toured behind Brat through 2025.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe opening track, \"House,\" carries a spoken-word poem by John Cale of the Velvet Underground. Charli took the phrase \"elegant and brutal,\" which Cale used about his old band in Todd Haynes's 2021 documentary, as a brief for the song and for the record's sound. Sky Ferreira appears on \"Eyes of the World.\" Production is credited to Keane, Nathan Klein, Justin Raisen and Lewis Pesacov. Tom Norris mixed the record and Idania Valencia mastered it. The twelve tracks run 34 minutes. Four of them were released as singles: \"House,\" \"Chains of Love,\" \"Wall of Sound\" and \"Always Everywhere.\"\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWuthering Heights entered the UK Albums Chart at No. 1, her third UK chart-topper.
