It was recorded that February at Sunlight Studio in Stockholm with engineer and co-producer Tomas Skogsberg, and originally issued as a split CD with Cadaver's Hallucinating Anxiety through Earache's Necrosis sublabel, wrapped in cover artwork by Dan Seagrave. Several songs, among them \"Death Evocation\" and \"Self Dissection,\" trace back to Dismember demos from 1988 and 1989 and were later re-recorded by that band.
