Prosthetic's notes describe the result as primitive death metal, garroting thrash and swamp-drenched hardcore. The cover painting is by Wes Benscoter, whose work has appeared on records by Slayer and Mortician.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTwo guests appear: David Davidson of Revocation on \"Femicidal Vengeance\" and Candace Buckingham of Walls of Jericho on \"Blistered Tongues.\" Selfish has said the album takes its frame from country songs about women avenging themselves, a set of tropes she describes as uncommon in death metal.
