The music was taped during the Wailers' run of shows at the Hammersmith Odeon in London in June 1976, on the tour for \u003cem\u003eRastaman Vibration\u003c\/em\u003e.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eBooking a hall that size followed the UK chart success of \"No Woman, No Cry.\" Island's Basing Street mobile unit made the recordings, with Frank Owen and Robert Ash engineering. Don Letts, then a young fan in the crowd, wrote the new liner notes for this release.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe set reaches back to \"Trenchtown Rock\" and \"Burnin' and Lootin',\" stretches \"Crazy Baldhead\" out to six minutes, and includes \"Bend Down Low,\" a song the band rarely performed.
