The labels also credit Paul Dateh for a violin arrangement, Dan Seeff on bass and Javier Santiago on piano.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBlu and Exile met in the mid-2000s, when Blu was working as a hype man for groups including Slum Village and Emanon, and formed the duo in 2007. Their debut that year, Below the Heavens, was called \"one of 2007's most celebrated hip-hop releases\" by XXL. Give Me My Flowers While I Can Still Smell Them followed in 2012, Miles: From an Interlude Called Life in 2020, timed to the thirteenth anniversary of Below the Heavens, and Love (the) Ominous World in 2024.
