Record Technology, Inc. pressed the edition on 180-gram Neotech VR900-D2 vinyl, limited to 3,000 numbered copies. Capitol's notes describe the process as one that \"eliminates multiple plating stages\" in order to hold the record's dynamic range.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe package is a heavyweight tip-on gatefold jacket inside a custom slipcase carrying the album artwork, with a certificate of authenticity that sets out the mastering, plating and pressing chain.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe album itself was cut at United Studios in Hollywood, in Room B. Smokey Hormel, Joey Waronker, Justin Meldal-Johnsen, Roger Joseph Manning Jr. and Jason Falkner play on it, the same group Beck last convened a decade earlier.
